Anchor Orphanage and School is a distinctive co-educational institution located in the Central Province of Zambia, Africa. our organization welcomes students from across the country, offering them a holistic, quality education at an affordable cost within a nurturing and equitable natural environment.
Our mission is to nurture the intellectual, practical, and moral faculties of young individuals, empowering them to become individuals of elevated intellect and character, poised for service and leadership in this world and the everlasting joy in the world to come.
The roots of Anchor Orphanage and School can be traced back to the visionary efforts of Ronnie Mvula, one of the pioneers and initiators of the institution. In 1997, Ronnie and her family relocated from the Riverside Farm Institute in Kafue to the rural landscape of Chibombo District in the Central Province of Zambia. Faced with the challenge of providing quality education for her children in a new and remote setting marked by limitations, Ronnie decided to leverage her talents and skills to educate her own children at home. This marked the inception of the school.
we strive To be a model Christian institution that provides holistic education with equal opportunities to all, with an emphasis for vulnerable groups like orphans.
At Anchor Orphanage and School, we prioritize hiring highly qualified staff who are deeply committed to fostering comprehensive transformation in individuals, encompassing mental, social, physical, and spiritual dimensions to uphold the highest standards in every aspect.
